Interesting how a thread on the LGBTQ+ experience has brought out a far-right maniac who thinks the current Tory party is somehow a bunch of lefties, a conspiracy theorist who has done his own research and concluded that masks don’t work and ... well ... Jakub

I suspect this thread, and the covid one, will be long gone by the morning, but this is the type of thing I, for one, miss from the good old days.
It’s difficult to demonstrate just how much of a lunatic you are when discussing our new signings or the League Cup draw.
(That said, I understand and respect the mods’ decision to take this board in any direction they choose, so please don’t ban me )

The day I start taking my moral compass from a racist bigot who thinks the public should vote for hanging then take me away in a white van and lock me up please.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 5:37 pmWell it’s sensible to let things play out you basically jumped on to the poster without even hearing an explanation until other more sensible posters felt they had to explain & defend the comment, you was far too quick to judge instead of holding back.

Listen. I've been to 41 countries mostly for business. I've yet to meet someone who in some way is not racist. It depends on the what level it is. Oh the French causing us problems again. Is that racist? It probably is to todays easily offended generation. And bigot. Thats interesting because someone who dismisses snother persons point of view because it doesn't coincide with their view and is called a bigot is in fact the closed mind bigot themselves. Do you get that?Big Vinny K wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 8:34 pmThe day I start taking my moral compass from a racist bigot who thinks the public should vote for hanging then take me away in a white van and lock me up please.

Anyone any guesses to which name Grandpa Claret used to post under before they were banned? Been on here for less than two weeks, quick to speak their opinions on the more typically controversial and argumentative topics, posting the kind of nonsense that always gets threads closed??? It's kind of heartening really that behind constantly changing usernames there are probably only about seven or eight truly massive weapons out of a forum of hundreds.

MOD: Post and poster removed
Re: Tom Daley
Profile created less than a month old. That’s the problem with this board (and I’m not sure there’s an easy way of resolving it), those banned for pushing their narrow minded views can just turn up again with a new name.Grandpa Claret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 10:04 pmwow just wow. How idiotic people can be. I bet your one who had a had a jab and then still got convid. Then went on to say " thank god I had the jab, it could of been so much worse".

It’s a profoundly depressing world where treating your follow humans as equals is seen as some political leftie lunacy rather than the default position.

North Yorkshire is full of homophobes and they don't attempt to hide it either.

For someone who claims to do a lot of research his spelling is atrocious. Always find it hard to be convinced by someone who doesn't know the difference between of and have.

Yes makes perfect sense - cheers for your words of wisdom.
Out of interest is a “closed mind bigot” worse than a racist bigot ? Just asking for a friend…..

Wouldn't it be Xenophobia in regards to France?Stayingup wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 10:15 pmListen. I've been to 41 countries mostly for business. Re: Tom Daley
We are in a similar territory as somebody saying “English people are reserved”…….or Scottish are “thrifty / tight”
Yes that’s ignorant, lazy stereotypes and quite often Xenophobic.
If somebody classifies that as racist then you can believe them when they say they have never met anybody who is not to some degree racist !
