Away and Third Strips
Is the club late this season in announcing them?

Re: Away and Third Strips
Away shirt was announced 17th August last year and the third kit, 7th September
Re: Away and Third Strips
Looking at the fixtures in the league,we won’t actually need to wear an away strip until we play Sunderland on 22nd October, until then all the teams we play away will either be wearing blue, white or both.I’m sure the sponsors will beg to differ though

Re: Away and Third Strips
Many clubs are struggling with this issue, not just Burnley. It's down to Covid restrictions in China and the general slowdown in imports as the world teters on recession. The early season start has just made matters worse.

Re: Away and Third Strips
Not sure we’d even need it for the Sunderland game tbh. We’ve played each other in first kits before

Re: Away and Third Strips
From what I have been told about the colours of our remaining 2 kits....claret would probably be the best option like against Huddersfield

Re: Away and Third Strips
Newcastle don't seem to be having a problem with suppliers. The Premier
League have deemed that their current 3 strips clash with Brighton's
first kit and they have had to order a special "one off" kit for their away trip
on Saturday.
If you see their strips, you have to wonder why !!!!

Re: Away and Third Strips
Second and third strips? Newcastle have just launched a fourth because the PL won't allow them to play in any of their first three at Brighton.
Same happened to us back in one season when we had to find a fourth kit to wear at West Ham.

Re: Away and Third Strips
That was a weird one as our third kit that season was green which we’d worn at Aston Villa with no issue.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 11:21 amSecond and third strips? Newcastle have just launched a fourth because the PL won't allow them to play in any of their first three at Brighton.

Re: Away and Third Strips
When I asked in the club shop on Saturday the fellow said. They have all the kits in storage but were waiting on the sponsors. Now they have them they are now getting printed and it will be two to three weeks before they launch them in the shop.

Re: Away and Third Strips
Honestly a light blue claret one of that would be decent as an away kit. in or "home" colours i'd prefer it to our current home kit tbhTheFamilyCat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 3:28 pmProbably a blessing - it's ******* awful.

Heard pink and black for away kit
Brentford have just announced a pink and black Umbro kit - can’t imagine it would be the same?

Re: Away and Third Strips
Pink and black is a bit of a trend - so meh, I'll wait and see.
I suspect the other away kit will be sky blue / blue / blue or maybe a white top.

Sadly i fear they will both be in the pigeon dropping style of the home kit
