Any chance of the bus from Nelson turning up?

Unfortunately these things happen. Anyway, enjoy a few beers in Chorley.

Thanks leisure forecast doing everything you do.
This is no way a dig at you and your helpers. But whoever supplies this bus to take us to Preston needs shooting.
Turns up 1hr late. 30mph down motorway, broke down now trying to get on m65.

Now broken down on said, unfit for purpose coach. Absolute shambles.

Yes, not good at all. I'll be having words with our coach firm tomorrow. They subbed out this trip and have been badly let down, as have we. We can only apologise and in addition to the initial reduction on the coach fare which we charged passengers, we will be crediting all passengers with another £5 which can be used towards the cost of a future trip.alboclaret wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 10:45 pmThanks leisure forecast doing everything you do.

Can't say fairer than that Leisure. When the bus turned up we thought it was a tester for the cattle journey to Ewood.... Being overtaken on the motorway by a cement truck & a low loader with 10 cars on was a highlight.....

We saw that bus broken down on the way back and joked it was like a Blackburn bus.Claret Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 8:43 amCan't say fairer than that Leisure. For those who were unfortunately on coach 1 on Tuesday. Just to confirm that in addition to the initial £5 that was knocked off your coach fare paid on the coach , we are crediting you with an additional £5 towards a future trip with us. Both ourselves and our regular coach firm were badly let down by the coach firm to which the job was subbed. They obviously took on the job knowing that they couldn't get to Nelson at the agreed pick-up time and sent a school double-decker instead of an Executive coach. Luckily we weren't playing somewhere like Brighton or Swansea!
