I really do feel for people stuck on a motorway like that in 30 degree heat.

Hope everyone gets down to Watford on time. Sky Sports for me, luckily.

same coming the other way , wife left bournemouth at 9.45 this morning and despite using the toll rd she has just gone past haddock 7.5 hours later !!

Horrendous journey so far. I’m on the coach tonight but we’ve just come off the motorway near Milton Keynes.

Delays on the London Overground Watford branch.
Best to use a Westmindlands train from Euston to Watford if you're coming from the center out.

Both our coaches arrived in Watford at 6.30pm, after a 6 hour journey!

We are still behind but driver done really well taking us off the motorway. Wouldn’t have had a chance otherwise.

Got there with about 30 mins to spare but a lot of horror stories from people trying to get there.

We’ve been advised to return via the M40 due to further problems.
