One year left on his deal. Wanted to stay in the PL to play in the World Cup. I’m sure behind the scenes there was a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ that we wouldn’t stand in his way if fair offers were received. I wish him all the best, top keeper for us.

Brentford v Man U coming up shortly. Eriksen starts for Man U v the club he had a 6 months contract with last year (after having his Inter Milan contract terminated).
I wonder what sort of reception he'll get? If I was a Bees fan I'd be a bit narked that he was given a chance of a comeback in my team then jumped ship for a "bigger club". Cant see he'll get booed but reception may be lukewarm I guess. Having said which, Bees fans seem quite a gentlemanly lot.
