Re: Man U
What’s the score today if Utd sign Pope, Tarkowski and Mee for £10m this summer?

Re: Man U
Even with a less that 1% chance of it happening, imagine Man U getting relegated? They looked completely toothless today. Liverpool next. Don't see anyone in the squad who can really fight through this and rally the team.

Re: Man U
Just watched the highlights.
Those first 2 goals were embarrassing. The way they set up to play out from the back is amateurish.
They have good players but no identity. Ten Hag looks to have made them worse than they were before.

Re: Man U
A draw probably. But what have been the score last night had we been able to keep these and McNeil and Cornet? About 4-0 to us.Burnleyareback2 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 10:42 pmWhat’s the score today if Utd sign Pope, Tarkowski and Mee for £10m this summer?

Re: Man U
Remind me how we got on at the Turf against Watford last season with Cornet and McNeil in the side

Re: Man U
Shocking to say the least. Brentford were good to watch. Like we used to be on a good day.
No team at MU. Just players without a care for each other.
It needs a month of Sir Alex to show them the light or the door. No other manager appears to have that, except Mourinho, who does it differently.
Minus 5 goal difference after 2 matches, is a clear signal they need sorting or out. They would be better playing the reserves!

I am old enough to remember them getting relegated to Div 2 back in the day - would love for it to happen again. Arrogant t***res.
Winning 2-0 at Old Trafford was one of the greatest pleasures Dyche gave us, to see Old Trafford emptying mid way through the 2nd half was wonderful.

Re: Man U
I still cant understand why United didn't sign Tarks this summer. His battling qualities are certainly what there lacking.
Re: Man U
Dennis Law's back heel sending them down I think.Relegated but rescued by the Doc from Division Two, then within two seasons had lost to second division Soton in cup final but returned in triumph a year later eventually although he had to go because of his penchant for, was it the physios wife?. All very similar to when Sir Matt stepped down and when Alex left-United for them in the doldrums and they will remain there until they get someone with a change of attitude for how the club runs and like Sir Alex is given time.Lord_Bob wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 6:22 amI am old enough to remember them getting relegated to Div 2 back in the day - would love for it to happen again. Re: Man U
They should reflect on their decision to sack Moyes!
He was recommended by Sir Alex and was not given enough time, before sack. I think that affected him. Now doing extremely well at WHU, despite the set up there in the past.

Re: Man U
I couldn't agree more, but the problems go much deeper than that.
The Glazers are the problem, so you can change your manager as often as you like, it won't change the results or the deficiencies. Look how many big name managers have tried and failed now. They will be running out of options soon, because just as top players are turning down moves to OT, so will the top managers. A pariah of a club.

Re: Man U
The main problem at Utd is they have no leaders on the pitch, and once the 1st goal went in yesterday they totally fell apart.
8 away PL defeats on the spin now, and this just highlights their lack of character in adversity.
In the not too decent past whenever Utd were behind in a game you always fancied them to recover, now when they go behind you can pretty much guarantee they'll lose the match.
Far too many ego's at that club, and it's telling that the really top players such as Haaland and Nunez opt for clubs other than Utd.
And what manager would go there, it's rapidly becoming a graveyard for top managers.
