Fans favorites
My 9 year old mentioned to me the other day how he’s struggling to pick his favorite player now. In his words…
It was nick pope but he left
Then it would have been tarks but he’s gone
Then it would have probably been Ben mee or Dwight McNeil but they’ve gone
Then it would have been cornet
I’m not sure I’ve really considered who my favourite player is for the last 20 years or so… but who do people think are going to take up the mantle amongst the younger clarets fans this year?

Re: Fans favorites
I suppose maybe there’s some worthy discussion after these first few games of who we think will really push on and become the key players in the team? … or maybe not
Re: Fans favorites
Brownhill will win a lot of fans this season.

Twine I think when he gets a run in the side.
Maybe even someone who hasn’t signed yet? Goals tend to get the young uns up for it.

For some reason I feel both him and McNally will slowly start to have an impact.
Got a friend with a lot of knowledge of the lower leagues and he is convinced we’ve struck gold again with centre halves, after the likes of keane, tarks and Collins.

Re: Fans favorites
Bit random but if I had to put money on anyone currently in the squad I’d go benson. Even though he was pretty average on Friday he’s pretty quick and has really impressive dribbling ability.

I can spot a good un and a bad un in a instinct and that lad McNally looks the dogs knackers, although not to sure about Benson
