Why so many short corners,??
Becoming quite predictable now.
If we ever get a penalty, they'd probably play that short as well!

Yes that’s fair enough but we have gone to the complete opposite extreme now. We are just passing for passing sake right now.

If we can become a bit more direct and more threatening im sure I will enjoy it. But right now I thought that was a pretty difficult watch.
I have to agree, I was getting more and more frustrated with just passing it back and forth between the back four, and was wanting them to run at hull and get more balls into the box, I felt more urgency getting the ball forward and attacking their full backs was needed and getting services into Jay. Each time Hull played it long our back four are chasing back and don't seem to be in control of the situation. but early stages and looking forward to the journey.

If you believe social media, numerous moans and groans at the match.

Some weird cheering thing went on when Taylor passed to Maatsen as well
The cheering when Taylor passed to Maatsen was because the crowd felt that there were several opportunities to do so earlier in the possession. It’s easy to see a pass from your seat in the JH Upper mind. Generally, the crowd were right behind the team and most seem to understand what VK is trying to achieve.

If the sideways and backwards passing is done with some zip and pace then it works as it shifts the play around the pitch and doesn’t allow the defence to set. However most of it recently has been slow and predictable. I’m hopeful it will get better as decision making and movement improves as we familiarise ourselves with the system but it’s still ok for it to be frustrating or difficult to watch until we get the balance right.

When Westwood comes back we'll hang all our corners under the crossbar ;)
I seem to remember several posters bemoaning the lack of short corners in recent seasons.
You can't please all the people all the time.
