But in previous seasons we never had to sell as many players as a necessity to service debts, so the turnover of playing staff wasn't as disruptive as it's likely to be going forward each year.
You should listen to the likes of Simon Jordan more & what he has to say about the takeover, he's hated for it in some quarters but up to press he's called everything correctly.

I'm excited to see fans now embracing xG after rightly laughing at the Brightons of this world for doing the exact same for many years.

Honestly, I don't think you're a true football fan if you're not a total hypocrite!

'So why did you change your mind?'

'erm...well, it benefits us now'

That is quite confusing.

You claim you don't know if Boris Johnson tells lies as he has never lied to you, but you know both Pace n Jordan well enough to know which 1 you trust more, when were you in their company.

Palace went into administration under simple Simon's stewardship so I guess he has more experience at f***ing things up

I said I couldn't be 100% sure regarding BJ, somebody making a mistake & ultimately failing in their younger years means to me that person's got that experience & can see where other people are going wrong, I'd be more worried listening to Jordan spouting if he hadn't failed if that makes any sense. I trust Simon Jordan you don't it's really that simple there's nothing complicated about that. Simon Jordans always had complimentary words to say about the club in the kilby era & it comes across as very bizarre that only until recently he's emerged as a man with a axe to grind when previously he's been anything but.

I tend not to believe much of what Jordan says this is true.

He was wrong about the Wood transfer and stop making the claim when he found out rather than admit he was wrong
He was wrong by Chris Wilder's agent about Wilder being in the directors box as he was about to take over, again he went quiet
He got exposed on how he bought the freehold for Crystal Palace from Ron Noades then when challenged said he had no option but to deceive Noades.

Just 3 things that come to mind regarding the tool. I am never impressed by someone who vainly tries to make himself seem intelligent by making up words and chucking them into a sentence.

How does Jakubclaret manage to make every single thread about him?

This is a thread about ball possession.

Well, he obviously possesses balls given the ******** he spouts.

We don't all this for sure, lot's of skullduggery goes on in football Chinese whispers, can we just respectfully agree to disagree & leave it as that & hopefully the ball possession debate can continue or is that to much to ask?

All teams can point to missed chances in games but there's no doubt we should have beaten Hull, and probably Luton too. I don't think a new striker fixes everything but even if Jay takes one of the two other sitters he had on Tuesday I don't think we're questioning the approach quite as much.

The one thing I would point out is how much more threatening we are when we play faster. The goal at Huddersfield came from a Maatsen run, so did the Hull goal. I know that when we play slow and patient we're waiting for the right moment to strike but the balance can be tweaked a bit. If teams aren't pressing us as they're worried about us playing through, which we've seen in every game since Hudds, we have to be willing to go long/over the top and win second balls at times.

If we're just rolling passes across the back four in our own half for minutes on end, there's nothing for the opposition to worry about.
