Harwood-Bellis
Really good display from him tonight, I thought, looks like a good acquisition.

Yeah I agree, thought that was his best game so far.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 9:43 pmReally good display from him tonight, I thought, looks like a good acquisition.

Him and Maatsen are the two best signings - shame they’re both loans.

Cullen has also been good, but played too many sideways and backwards passes tonight.jedi_master wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 9:45 pmHim and Maatsen are the two best signings - shame they’re both loans.
Still not convinced by Bastien who has been hooked every game.

Wouldn't disagree, followed by Cullen. Keeper hasn't had much to do so difficult to assess.jedi_master wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 9:45 pmHim and Maatsen are the two best signings - shame they’re both loans.
Bastien and the wide players on the whole are all a bit of a muchness.
Looking forward to seeing Twine.

Very composed. Seems to have good judgement. Will be a premiership player with someone. Not sure it will be City but definitely with someone.

Thought he was outstanding.
Best game by far.
Best game by far.
Re: Harwood-Bellis
He’s class. Actually surprised by how good he’s been. I have a Rovers supporting mate who was adamant he can’t pick a pass, no shock that he’s miles off it.

Re: Harwood-Bellis
If we can get the Mali centre half Kouyate then our defence could become a fortress and we might become a threat at corners too

Re: Harwood-Bellis
Much better tonight. Would like to see him partnered with an older head though, similar to Cahill with McGreal.
Re: Harwood-Bellis
He is outrageously good on the ball, some of the passes he played were ridiculous. I'd like to see him carry the ball out more, which he is doing more each game, as that will help us get through teams that sit in. He needs to be more dominant defensively but he looks a massive talent.
I think he's better than when we had Cahill at a similar age tbh but agree he would improve even more with a McGreal-type partner rather than Taylor, who doesn't seem particularly comfortable at LCB.
