For any info ahead of game at Shrewsbury other than tickets and coach travel.

All pubs in Shrewsbury are fairly safe for away fans.
If in town centre the Salopian Bar is good with at least 6 cask ales on. There are two Wetherspoons within 300 yards of each other.
Closest to the ground there is the Brooklands public house. It’s a big ish pub and no issues with well behaved away fans calling in. Limited selection of beers though.

There was another info thread on here created just after the draw. I recommended the Prince of Wales pub for supporters staying over in Shrewsbury because of the excellent range of cask beer and bus travel to and from the ground.
Unfortunately they are not running a bus on Tuesday due to perceived lack of demand.
Still a good pub to visit though if you are staying over and don’t mind a 20 minute walk to the ground.
Bynner Street, Shrewsbury. SY3 7NZ.
And for those having a beer in the town centre there are two suitable buses up to the ground from the bus station.
Both Service 27 departing from Stand E. One at 18:45 and one at 19:15. Ask for the Brooklands stop, it is a ten minute journey.
Those on the 18:45 can probably pop over the road into the Brooklands pub for a last pint and then walk up to the ground with the Shrewsbury fans. Unfortunately there won’t be any buses back to town after the game and it’s a 35-40 minute walk for reasonably fit people like me!
Parking as previously advised for friendly match, Pritchards Van Hire SY3 7QZ. Or there will be a limited amount of parking at Brooklands pub. Both charge £5.

How close are the Wetherspoons to the ground?

If you are looking to park your coach in town there is a free coach park. Abbey Foregate coach park. Then just cross the river up into town, three pubs within 200 yards of coach park.
When back on coach it’s 5 mins up to the ground.
