He's Macedonian
He comes from away
Where does he play? Where does he play?
He plays as a winger
D A, D A, D-ARKO, D-ARKO D-ARKO
D A, D A, D-ARKO, D A, D-ARKO
What's the tune? I thought it was bohemian rhapsody but when I got to the "kompany has some medals on his sideboard" bit, it didn't scan properly.

Little geopolitical note: The Republic of North Macedonia was previously recognised as the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. The name North Macedonia was adopted in agreement with Greece, who had disputed the new state's use of the name "Macedonia," as two thirds of the geographic region of Macedonia is in Greece.

Good old Jerry.
Don’t mention the war. I did but I think I got away with it.

If he has a Bucephalus our near neighbours will be slavering!!!
As much as I love the reference, Alexander the Great was from Lower Macedonia, which is now a region of northern Greece. The modern day country of Macedonia essentially "hijacked" Alexander's legacy...the only Macedonian politicians you'll see claiming Alexander was Macedonian (in the modern sense) are the same right wing nutters who would claim St George was English etc.
