Big anti-Glazer protest expected before the game tonight. Hope there's no bother.
As for the footie, going for a draw.

The United fans can protest all they like, whilst the club is a cash cow the Glazers won't give a flying F.

I agree. 19 goals in the last 4 meetings just isn't enough.

Best outcome would be both sets of fans kick off big style, both teams get long term stadium bans and have to play their remaing games in Spain or Italy ..............oh wait

Re: United v Liverpool
I used my free £1 skybet build a bet thing to do a bet I'd never normally consider which includes a specific player being sent off;
Lisandro martinez sent off
Salah to score 2
over 2.5 goals
liverpool to win
both teams to score
250/1
It would really not surprise me to be let down by Manchester United failing to score if everything else comes through.

Re: United v Liverpool
That's a pity. They are all lazy from a running point of view. I'm struggling to work out which of these kompany would pick for us in the championship. One of shaw or maguire as maatsen will have a 3-game ban, and Ronaldo as the other options are also old.
Fred and Premier league football are pretty non-compatable

The way him and Milner were arguing after they conceded though, maybe some unrest in the squad ?

I think he usually finds every game such a walk in the park that when he’s given a real test he can sometimes be far too casual.claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 8:20 pmVan Dijk is off it tonight, whether injured or attitude, he isn't right.

Good entertaining half was that.
Re: United v Liverpool
Liverpool’s midfield of Milner, Henderson and Elliott is simply nowhere near good enough.
Why they refuse to buy a new world class midfielder I don’t know.

Probably biased because McNeil lived in his head for a few years but I’ve never seen Alexander-Arnold have a good game. Walking red card tonight.

There’s also a certain irony in protesting about your owners while parading the latest high 8 figure signing on the pitch.

And particularly when most of their players cost more than the debt that put their neighbours Bury out of existence.

I generally really enjoy the way Liverpool play with their high tempo, direct balls into space with runners getting after it, but they look a shadow of that tonight.
Not been a great start for them if they lose this. City will be loving it.

Re: United v Liverpool
Was a lot of Glazers out singing on the tram towards Old Trafford tonight. Most got off at Trafford Bar where it looked like the protest parade started.
Our office is across from the Sawyer's, above Mulligan's, and there appeared to be a couple of minor incidents on Deansgate late afternoon.
