Love a walk by any river but the Wharfe is special, fished it a few times and caught my biggest wild brown trout under the trees at the top left hand bank a few years ago
Best tasting fish i've ever had.......biggest i ever got was 1.5 lbs.

3 3/4 lbs on a Klinkhammer, it was rising under trees on the opposite bank but I didn't realise how big it was until it set off

Don't keep many now but 1 1/2 lbs is the perfect size for eating I reckon.....attached pic above
