It's always a month with youth loans. It can be extended. Really should read as a minimum of a month. They can actually be on loan indefinitely as long as they are under 21.

I did notice an Oldham scout* at the game against QPR and wondered who he was there to watch.

Sound like he should get some opportunities with Oldham's striker situation since Hallam Hope ended up in hospital. I think Joe has the physicality to cope with football at that level, hope he does well.

Really leaves the U21s short, we don't have another striker like Joe who does the thankless tasks that allow his partner to flourish. Be interesting to see what we do.

*Or at least that's what I assumed the bloke in an Oldham Athletic coat watching the game with a clipboard was.

Good luck to young Joe. He looked very lively for the U21s from the snippets I've seen recently.
