It takes a special effort to take a goal kick and hardly get it out of the penalty box

My Dad lost his programme as we all leapt about for five minutes celebrating the goal.
I remember one large chap, a bit worse for wear of drink in the away end, getting barred from the coach back to Lancashire.
Awful result and things indeed were looking grim.

Remember this game well, had been on a plane all night and drove up in a hire car from Heathrow Saturday morning. Chatted outside the ground before kick off to someone who said we were playing OK but just needed a goal.
Looking back 25 years still don't quite know what else to say even now other than remembering looking at Waddle leaning against the side of the tunnel motionless the entire second half ...did not look good.
