Another trip down memory lane. Cheers for the article, they are always so well written and researched. What I’d really love is if you collected them together as ebooks, maybe one season per book. I’d definitely buy them on Amazon and spend a pleasant afternoon reliving an old campaign.

I strangely remember this, I didn't get to on the match as it was a school night and I was 10 or 11..
I remember because my friend got to go, and I wasnt happy.

I got to go on the Stoke match the following season though, where we were on a level playing field as they had just got relegated.
We got beat in that game too, can't remember what score etc.. pretty sure we didn't score though.
