Absolutely magnificent player. So pleased he’s the captain and I FULLY believe that if he’d been picked as first choice centre mid, last season, as opposed to third choice, that we’d still be a Premier League side, such was the huge (literally) points difference when he actually played.

Funny that some thought he'd be a bit part player this season rather than captain.

Still completely inexplicable he wasn't used fully, it was glaringly obvious we were a better side when he played.
