The lost final - BBC iplayer

Post by Clarets4me » Sat Sep 24, 2022 1:37 pm

Found this last night, a documentary about Scotland's U18 Euro's win in 1982, narrated by Pat Nevin ... one for " IanMcl " and others with Caledonian roots .. ;)

I like Pat Nevin. But it's quite peculiar. Most people. When they move away from home, tend to lose their accent slightly over a long period of time. It just mellows slightly. His accent seems to get stronger as the years go on. I sometimes really struggle to pick what he's saying these days. Maybe I'm just going deaf.
