I understand the Lanky end of season 2022 dvd is entitled "So near yet so far".

It has a picture of a bottle on the front.

Great win by Lancs, no mean feat to beat the champions by an innings and inflict their 1st defeat of the season.

Meanwhile Yorkshire look like they might just escape the dreaded drop thanks to Hampshire and the weather, crazy that a side who have only won 1 CC match could survive, and their solitary victory came against Gloucs way back at the start of the season.
The weather has been absolutely biblical in Birmingham all week, shame it’s saved Yorkshire from going down.

It’s only a matter of time…. All the players leaving, millions to pay in compensation, 1 win might look good next season.

Woke up this morning, feeling fine,
Yorkshire's relegation on my mind.

One win lads...... ONE.

Warwickshire trying to push on.... 102/3... minimum of 88 overs left in the day.

Also, seems there were some "Frank exchange of views" between outgoing player Tom Kohler-Cadmore and the Yorkshire fans at headingley yesterday. Seems that the fans aren't that happy with his lack of professionalism in the last few games, accusing him of getting out cheaply to destabilise the club. The back story is.... he's leaving at the end of the season - his dad was the dressing room attendant at headingley for years, but left when players and back room staff started to be sacked over the endemic racism within the club.

Edit.... Ps - one win..... in a whole season. Still shaking my head, or SMH as the cool kids say.

Hants must be favourites but day4 you never know, two full sessions left so should be a result - no rain forecasted.

From where the camera is that LBW looked a bit dicey but camera isnt exactly in line and the decision makes the match very exciting.
10 runs v 2 wickets now. Hants still favourites I think.

Great result for Hampshire as well. THey will not have to travel up to Yorkshire next season, much easier and cheaper going to Birmingham.
