Can't believe it was 25 years ago. Waddle wasn't very good as a manager, and that's being kind.

I'm not sure how Ford, Williams and Howey being available constitutes "good news". ;)

One item that's not a surprise - "Harry Brooks was in the news again". Do you have a keyboard shortcut that saves you typing that out every week?

You say that but the theme to these reports seems to be that we played well and deserved much more than we got.

We did finish that season very well.

We did play well that day. I’d forgotten the Howey sending off but even from the distance of the away end the penalty shout was pretty clear. Unfortunately we got an even better view of the winner looping into the net!

Waddle was a crap manager, he even alluded to it himself and quit management, Stan had to start advising him which is how we just stayed up by the skin of out teeth.
