Twine was put on the same weights programme as the rest of the squad and has injured his hip I think it is, possibly twice.

So nothing more sinester than that, but pretty stupid from the S&C team to think that our slight forward should be sqautting the same as a 6 foot 3 CH. That's why the info coming out has been a tad coi.

He'll be back soon, and hopefully will be allowed to train normally and the S&C Team won't obsess on how good his 3 rep ass to grass max lieft is on the wrack.

Why should we give our future opponents a guide as to when he'll be selected?
It's standard protocol all clubs do it's not about secrecy because some sort of opposition advantage could occur with all due respect to twine it's not neymar injured.

I very much doubt every player is on the same weights. Same routine / programme doesn't mean he's lifting the same amount as Muric for example

Honestly not here to make things up Ric and it's only what I have heard, so could be wrong, but apparently it was the case. Either way, it was obviously too much weight!

Main thing is, nothing more behind it than he is genuinely injured and not far off being back.

I think he could make a big differnece to the team and his set pieces alone will win us games. Love Brownhill and JBG, but will be nice no longer having to see their free kicks go over the bar!

But as several others have posted, why does anyone need to know?
He'll play when fit and ready.

It’s common knowledge that expected dates of return appear but seemingly what we’ve got here isn’t normal & appears odd another explanation is that we’ve bought a crock or somebody very susceptible to recurring injuries but somehow passed a medical, very strange!

Come on lads. Use your brain.

Kompany came out and said he was injured, giving a date. He later said he'd had a setback and that the return date would be later, but no longer wanted to put a return stamp on it as he got it wrong the first time.

Now, think about it. If it was down to missing home and not settling in the area, would VK have even said this? No!

Would he have been honest, like he has been with the club debt? Yes! He'd have put it across in a diplomatic way of course, but we'd have known by now.

It really didn't need 2 pages for someone to point this out.

I am wondering why some people think they have a right to know anything about this issue or any other issue for that matter (Club ownership details, finance details etc).
They may well have an interest in these matters but they do not have a right to know anything.
Customers of a business have no right to know about the internal affairs of that business. They can remain as customers or move on as they please but they would have no more rights anywhere else.
It’s because the fans are more than just ‘customers ‘. For many following the club is a way of life and is written into their DNA , especially so for those who attend every game , home and away . Also many have season tickets and despite the recent buy back , some are shareholders . Nobody is suggesting that the fans get to know every little detail regarding the clubs business but a proper, well run football club would be foolish not to engage with its supporter base in such matters whenever possible ….. especially true for clubs such as Burnley where sense of community and togetherness are so important .

This thread is an interesting read. There are more conspiracy theories about Twine than Area 51.

Can’t help thinking how ironic that all this fuss has been made if when he does play he turns out to be sh!te.
