Arveladze sacked at Hull

Post by jdrobbo » Fri Sep 30, 2022 11:37 am

Very strange timing… they have had two weeks since the last game due to the international break and they have a game this evening!

They should name the new owner as the manager

Could try swapping managers with Watford?

Started the season quite well, got lucky against us, but have been rubbish since.
Nothing is surprising in football management any more.

There are so many teams that deserve to be relegated, there just isn't enough room to fit them all in the bottom 3.

Were they lucky against us? In that 2nd half they could have scored 3 or 4 times on the counter but their final ball was shocking.

xG from that game was Burnley 2.74 vs 0.78 Hull which is the biggest margin we've had in our favour all season.

They were lucky.

We ditched Brian Miller on the day of the Tottenham - Burnley League Cup match, 1982-83. I was so annoyed I didn't go.

We won 4-1!

I thought we were emiles better than them. And but for some of the worst time wasting I can ever remember, we would have almost certainly won it

They turned that game into an absolute shambles

I was on a course, in London, so went straight there, in my suit with coat over. What a night!
