So as we enter October, 2 tasty lunch time kick offs.

Arsenal-Spurs in the derby, with the carrot of top spot on the line.

Hearts-Rangers in the SPL, where a win would send Rangers for a few hours anyway.

Stanley-Morecambe catches my eye in the lower leagues.

Yes, thankfully we're back from the tedium of the international break.
Some good stuff this weekend, also the Manc derby tomorrow and Leicester v Forest Monday looks intriguing.

Difficult to see both Cooper & Rodgers surviving a defeat in the East Midlands derby isn't it.

On the bright side of things at least Watford and Hull will be looking for a new manager by next week , every cloud and all that .

They are these days now Arteta has been given time to clear the decks, and implement his style, but most managers aren't given so long unfortunately to build something.

Arsenal and Manchester City for top 2
Can’t see Forest or Leicester sacking manager
Think Wilder and Bruce from Championship are the next possible casualties

I understand from Leicester fans the club can't afford to sack Rodgers. Its going to.be very interesting the match on Monday night.

In terms of managerial sackings Bruno Lage will be feeling the heat at Wolves if it carries on like this for them.

Wins for Duff's Barnsley, and Wade's Cheltenham, Joey's Bristol Robers snatch a point at the death in their West Country derby at Exeter.

Jensen helped Accy to a 3-1 win over 10 man Morecambe, Bedeau played 74 mins for the visitors.

Only just realised - Preston drew 0-0 again.

That is their 6th 0-0 in 11 games so far, and they’ve scored a total of 3 (THREE) goals in the league so far.

Well that does not surprise me. Glad we sold him as the championship would have been to physical for him, he would have spent most of the season injured

He made a typical Tarkowski recovery by putting a block in, buzzing for Dwight though scoring the winner
