Tonight's footie 4/10
Champs League action.
Liverpool v Rangers obviously catches the eye, Arfield on the bench.
Eintracht Frankfurt v Spurs
Be interesting how the 2 English sides fare against the 2 EL finalists from last season.
6 games in the Champ, including several of the sides around the PO area, come on Cardiff.
In League 1 Wade's Cheltenham home to Bolton.

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
The game that jumps off the page for me is Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham in the Champions League.
Hard to believe it's some 55 years ago we played away in Frankfurt in a European competition. Brian Miller scored for us in a creditable 1-1 draw.

Lack of goals in The Championship- baring the 2-2 at Luton; 0-0 everywhere else at the mo.
Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
Cardiff playing well. Unlucky not to be in front.

Obviously Cardiff were more frightened of us than ******* Rovers ,they could be 3 up by now ,Rovers’ forum slagging them off,& saying they were better under Mowbray.

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
Two things strike me at half time:
B@st@rds aren't very good.
We really should have beaten Cardiff.

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
Rovers keep trying to play out from the back, badly. They will get caught out eventually if they carry on.

Beat Stoke and it will be looking tight at the top.

Will be difficult to keep up with Sheffield Utd and Norwich, but beating Stoke keeps us in touch at least.

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
It should hopefully now be evident that this league is wide open and nobody is running away with it. Cardiff showing tonight they may not be the cloggers some were trying to portray them as, too.
Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
We're now the only team to have lost one game and having played one less than most!

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
2 points per game the target and nobody is beating that now.
Never seen a league so there for the taking, not a reference to us just to how poor the league is.

Well chuffed seeing those scores tonight, and even funnier how Rovers missed the pen at the death, big chance for us to close the gap with 3 points tomorrow.

Re: Tonight's footie 4/10
was the Sunderland game on Sky or something ? less than 14K for a home game for them seems incredibly low
