Low flying aircraft
Any ideas why there’s a low flying aircraft flying over Burnley currently? Doesn’t look like a police helicopter.

It’s a police plane, definitely fixed wing. Not sure what it’s doing but it’s been circling over various places all night from Liverpool, Bamber Bridge to Nelson.

Its part of the Lancashire Defence Force to ensure those Yorkies don't sneak over the border to enjoy the bounty we offer. This only applies to non match days of course.

Police looking for a missing person , its all over Facebook
*MISSING FROM HOME APPEAL*
Carl Lister, 51 years old, is currently considered missing from Leatherland Drive, Whittle-le-Woods. As a result, we are urgently requesting appealing for any help that might help us to locate them.
Carl was last seen in the Glenview Road area of Burnley. We are urgently asking people to check any CCTV, doorbells and dash cams for footage which may help us to locate Carl.
Carl is described as being a white male with a slim build, standing at around 5'10" tall. He was last seen wearing a grey cap, grey rain jacket, grey cargo tracksuit bottoms and black trainers with a white sole. This is displayed in the picture below.
If you have any information that could help us locate Carl, please call 101 and quote log reference 0746 of the 4th October 2022. For any immediate sightings, please call 999.
