Low flying aircraft

Post by Red Fox Rocks Socks » Tue Oct 04, 2022 9:34 pm

Any ideas why there’s a low flying aircraft flying over Burnley currently? Doesn’t look like a police helicopter.

I saw a chinook flying about 3pm too in a similar area

It’s a police plane, definitely fixed wing. Not sure what it’s doing but it’s been circling over various places all night from Liverpool, Bamber Bridge to Nelson.

Its part of the Lancashire Defence Force to ensure those Yorkies don't sneak over the border to enjoy the bounty we offer. This only applies to non match days of course. 😁
