Thinking of getting up to date and installing a pay app on my Samsung Mobile Phone. Would welcome advice/recommendations, please.

Re: Pay Apps
Are you after the ones where you attach your debit card details or the ones where you write electronic cheque?

Re: Pay Apps
I use Googlepay (Wallet) on my Samsung A12.
Have my debit card, 2x credit cards, Texaco loyalty card, Tesco points card
and my NHS covid pass app on there.
Very convenient and easy to use.

I use Samsung Wallet on my Samsung phone....all the time. Home and abroad.
Not had an issue and usually, within seconds, it is telling me what I have just spent! (Always a downside! )

Re: Pay Apps
Slightly off topic but if anyone has used their cards to pay for something on Facebook they automatically store your card details on their site.
You have to go into settings and delete it.

Should say they link it to Facebook pay.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 11:17 pmSlightly off topic but if anyone has used their cards to pay for something on Facebook they automatically store your card details on their site.

If your account gets hacked, which they often are. They have access to it.

Re: Pay Apps
Anyone who allows Facebook access to their financial details truly is a complete fool.

Re: Pay Apps
Facebook has many selling sites and charity pages that people might use their cards to pay.
People aren't volunteering their details for FB to store, FB are linking them to FB pay themselves.

Re: Pay Apps
Well, if that's the case - it's another good reason to bin your personal Facebook account. I have an anonym account for other stuff, like businesses that don't have their own website.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 10:19 amFacebook has many selling sites and charity pages that people might use their cards to pay.
