Dyche wanted
Dyche wanted
By the fans at West Brom apparently, top of their poll. Personally I hope he gets the job, think it’s a perfect fit for him.

I couldn't give a damn which job he gets, if he does.

Re: Dyche wanted
He’s said he thinks he deserves a Prem job and I don’t blame him. And looking at the table their should be midlands jobs coming up soon.
Very much doubt he’ll take the size of pay cut he’d need to take to go there. But with their older core of good pro’s, could see him making them “a good outfit”.

I’m not surprised they want him. Pretty much every other club in the Championship should be desperate to have him.

Re: Dyche wanted
From BFC'S POV at least if he gets a job, he'll be off our pay roll.
Prem vacancies may well arise in the next few weeks, but there's no guarantee SD will be considered for any of those, and West Brom ticks a lot of boxes as far as I can see.

Re: Dyche wanted
Be a good job for him and he’d probably do well there. Not sure PL clubs will be queuing up for him. Think he’d need time at a PL club which most won’t give him.

A good move for Dyche as I think he'll have no problem keeping them up

If offered he should take it.
Before Dyche got hold of our team, WBA were the club we were aiming to emulate.

Re: Dyche wanted
Wonder if the players will understand his pitch geometry
Re: Dyche wanted
Good that he is wanted. WBA a good job and a place where you are wanted, counts a lot.
Can only imagine, he has had a whisper in his ear, from elsewhere.
Good luck to him.

He might have a long wait. The longer he's out of work the more chance he risks becoming the forgotten man.NewClaret wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 11:23 amHe’s said he thinks he deserves a Prem job and I don’t blame him. And looking at the table their should be midlands jobs coming up soon.

Heard a couple of "pundits" on talksport talk about Dyche the other week. Long ball football was mentioned. It's kind of stuck with him now somewhat unfairly

Re: Dyche wanted
I’d be amazed if he wasn’t wanted in general for most vacancies, certainly bottom half of the premier league and any cash rich championship side.
Big balance though between holding out for a top league Jon and then being forgotten about. Wish him every success

The longer he leaves it, the less chance of a PL role. WBA would be good for him to re-establish himself. He would make them hard to beat at the expense of creative play

Re: Dyche wanted
I don't know the detail of his contract, and actually neither do most experts on here..
but if you pay someone (SD) off during their contracted time don't you pay it in full?
Genuine question.

WBA managers since 2012 (just 10 yrs)
Hodgson, Clarke, Downing, Pepe Mel, Irvine, Pulis, Megson, Pardew, Moore, Shan, Bilic, Allardyce, Ismael, Bruce.

Isn’t he good mates with Steve Bruce?
Might put him off wanting the job.

Heard the WBA players dont want Dyche so the owner told them they better start winning then. Apparently they played out their skins today to get the victory

They’ve had that many managers! I’d no idea.

WBA fans are like Turkey's voting for Christmas. Pulis, Allardyce, Ismael, Megson, Bruce and now Dyche? that's some hoof ball list.

Dyche would definitely have West Brom challenging, think it would be a good move for him. Personally think he has zero chance of a job like Leicester or Villa.

I think the list of clubs that Dyche wants and who in return want him is so small it might be empty.
He wont get a Prem job. He doesn’t want a Championship job. Simple as.

I disagree.
Dyche gets them pretty jacked off for the first half and part of the second but then the wheels fall off.

In his first part-season with us, Dyche had us sleepwalking to oblivion before just about getting a grip towards the seasons end.

I have read that SD is sending Ian Woan to go and watch the failing clubs in the PL such as Leicester, Forest, Villa in the event these clubs are looking to change manager and coaches

Re: Dyche wanted
IMHO Dyche has enough money for a comfortable life for the foreseeable future. My advice to him go abroad manage a foreign team, make the contacts
the way that Vince has and learn a new style of play. He needs to learn and emulate Potter.
Or wait until January and take the England Job.
Because no team in the PL or Championship will give you the money or control that you had at Burnley.

Brexit advising Dyche to go abroad and manage a foreign team. Oh the irony.

Re: Dyche wanted
Fair enough he’s made a pretty penny and can spend his days, steady away, counting and spending his money (I know this is Jakub’s view - I assume it still is but he hasn’t been posting because we won) but you are very quickly fish and chip paper in this game. You would have thought his agent would be all over the WBA job - makes a lot of sense on a number of levels. As time goes on though, he’ll become less appealing and things may start to dry up. I always think of Alan Curbishley in this respect.
