Good lad Jay just what we needed before HT, assist by Tella.
Makes that save by Muric all the more important.

Clearly been a plan to cross beyond far post for the knock back but thats the first time it's come together. Lovely move.

so that's two off the line and a goal..... not bad considering some on here think some of our players are off...

Scoring I never consider an issue for us, the problem is keeping enough clean sheets.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 8:27 pmStill only Watford have blanked us all season.

Rotherham lad playing hell with ref for not stopping the game, when he has the ball at his feet. Put it out you wazz. Injured player was 80% off the field anyway.

I'm not sure if I've seen us this careless with the ball all season.

Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
We look a little casual and complacent.
Lots of short sold passes or sloppy touches especially from Zaroury and Maatsen, Vitinho really not playing well, Cork a bit off and aside from the goal involvement Tella and JBG haven't been great. Tella way too casual with that cutback from Zaroury. Bellis been caught out a little.
Would consider Benson for JBG at half-time or 60 mins but we need a shaking rather than a radical swap.

Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
We have had some tremendous balls onto the box. It's criminalwe haven't managed to score a couple off them.
Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
Had enough chances to be winning. Fair play to Rotherham for coming and playing. Not sure if the conditions are impacting things but our first touch / passing been way below standard.

Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
We really should have scored 2-3, we’ve been a bit sloppy with the ball, could be the weather but I’m confident we put this lot away in the 2nd half.

we've had some close moments in spite of being a little careless, but the conditions look really poor

Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
Sounded like we ended the half strongly, and our bench could yet again be the difference in getting a result especially Benson who I imagine will be introduced at some stage 2nd half.

Re: Burnley vs Rotherham Match Thread
Maatsen is giving them the greatest problems with his speed and direct running. Zarourry and Tella not on their games tonight, neither is Vitinhospt_claret wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 8:37 pmWe look a little casual and complacent.
