Re: EOS
Rubbish! This prediction's way better than the one that he did at the beginning of November, at least this one's mathematically possible the early November one had a points total for all 24 clubs that not only exceeded what was possible then, but what'd been possible (not a single drawn game) before the season ever started.
As for the comment about us not getting many more points, well that'll have to apply to everyone and Blackburn Rovers especially need to get their act together: Latest forecast total's 1450 points, 694 already secured after 21 rounds so about 30 points/round from now to the end will require half the games to be draws; with 694 points now, statistical forecast would be around 1520 points in total (3 draws and 9 wins per round) so around 5% off, but as i said... at least possible.

To put it simply, I have created a prediction table (Excel Spreadsheet) that calculates points. This is the average of all the results from MW2 onwards.TheFamilyCat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 6:17 pmCollated what calculated points? I genuinely don't understand what you've based this on.

Nope, still doesn't make sense. We must have the best points per game average to be top of the league so how does your calculation work?Hurstwood_Claret wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 11:26 pmTo put it simply, I have created a prediction table (Excel Spreadsheet) that calculates points. Why have you missed out MW1 ? (When burnley got 3 points btw)
And presumably you have put something daft into the formulas to get these results by given nearly all the teams have played the same games and we have the most points !!

Right, for anybody new or has forgot, this is how my EOS Works.
I input the number of points. My spreadsheet then works out the PPG. This is then calculated to give a final result.'

Re: EOS
Your table makes no sense though. We have the most points per game in the league with just over 1.9 so if you multiply that by the amount of remaining games and did the same for everyone else then the league table wouldn't change. (Apart from those who haven't played as many- they skew the results but not enough to explain the baffling table you've presented). Rovers have just over 1.7 points per game this season. How does 1.9 x the remaining games equal a lower number than 1.7 x?Hurstwood_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 10:24 pmRight, for anybody new or has forgot, this is how my EOS Works.

Re: EOS
Which puts us on 87 points not 77.
I think he may have put in an additional “if” formula which calculates the number of Belgians on the clubs staff and takes off 1 point for each. But you then need to take off a further point for every Kosovo international goal keeper your team contains and multiply that by how many American owners at the club (after deducting VAT)
Fairly obvious really
Re: EOS
Given that Hurstwood Claret confessed to being an E-Sport student, I genuinely presumed MW2 meant Modern Warfare 2, which was released on October 28th and the predicted results were calculated with the games after that date.

Who's gonna tell Coventry that despite being 11th with 2 games in hand (and 4th in the form table) , they are only getting 3 more points from their remaining 27 games.

Oh, give over.
Hurstwood is playing around with results so far, to come up with what he/she honestly describes as a bit of fun.
Some of you on here need to lighten up a bit.
IMHO, of course.

My pal said he went to a wedding recently, a friend of his wife turned up with her husband. He’s involved in e sport and gaming. He arrived in his helicopter!!
