Re: Meet Barry K at the Royal Dyche
I hope it was very much Barry's choice to not have an event such as this at Turf Moor.
I believe it is his choice that he doesn't have an official club title/role now and doesn't go in the exec box etc, but i'd like to have thought the option of club facilities would be available to him for something like this.
Still, the Dyche is a decent enough spot.

I understood that Kilby had a table in the Hospitality suite in the Noth Stand, along with many others, having thought it wise to make a clean break from sitting with the new board - which I see a lot of sense in.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 3:45 pmI hope it was very much Barry's choice to not have an event such as this at Turf Moor.

From what I can make out about this particular appearance it would seem it is the Royal Dyche that have been on the front foot with this event, much as I assume they were with SD's appearance in the summer - Pubs are not for me but the host at the Royal Dyche has always seemed rather astute on these matters and her business in general

By holding this at the Dyche, all proceeds go to the BKPCA. In the club shop they would go to BFC.

I mean, i'm not sure that's a rule set in stone. Besides, i was thinking more one of the hospitality areas, although perhaps they will all be done out / occupied for xmas do's?Rodleydave wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 3:56 pmBy holding this at the Dyche, all proceeds go to the BKPCA. Seems an obvious and wise choice by Mr Kilby
