Re: Ronaldo
Bit of a culture shock for his other half and kids to move from Manchester to Riyadh.
I was approached by the Saudis last year to go out there for 12 months to help them with a work thing, it was the family element why I said no, didn’t even get to the money bit.

Re: Ronaldo
We'd all go for that amount of money, family or not.
He's only going to be there for a year or so at most before he finally retires.

Re: Ronaldo
I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he forced a move away from Manchester United. I felt he was saying he had more to give in his final years and had more ambition to win silverware. But it was all about money in the end.
He’s obviously been tapped up, if I were the directors of Manchester United I’d be investigating it.

Re: Ronaldo
I wonder if he was drawn to Saudi Arabia after hearing that Muchacho was still playing there.
I think they have unfinished business…

Re: Ronaldo
Seen it, he doesn't need to shout it. But I bet he has sleepless nights when people like you slag him off for being successful in his career and life.
Re: Ronaldo
Doesn’t alter the fact that he paid for all of those things. He can’t have shouted very loud and the rooftops can’t have been that high because I reckon most people didn’t know about those donations. However you cut it it’s a very good way to spend your “I’ll deserved” multi-millions.

Re: Ronaldo
Ronaldo isn’t self-centred because he donates some of his wealth to charitable causes?

Re: Ronaldo
Amongst the seething jealousy, there appears to be an almost total ignorance that the “ greatest of sports stars “ do often tend to be selfish , self centred , petulant and outwardly aloof . It’s their almost superhuman drive for perfection . Only euro league left really is France and i can’t see that . Be a pity to end his career in some god forsaken Saudi hell hole , though I’d imagine he’ll be keen to make friends with young handsome Arabic gentleman .
