When there are two games played at the same time why isn't one shown on BBC and one on ITV, instead of both on BBC or ITV?

Because the World Cup gets significantly more views than Tipping Point or whatever other crap is on at that time.

In the early days of Sky we had a cup game away at Chester screened live. The game was so bad that at half time I imagine most people opted for 'I Love Lucy' instead of the second half.

Remember it well. Think Inchy was the star on the pitch.

Think Randall got MoM and they interviewed him with Heath after the game and Randall made Jack Grealish look like Albert Einstein

At the old Deva Stadium, which I think is no longer. We were behind the goal, and felt we were almost on the pitch it was that tight. Inchy scored right at the end, and the place went crazy. Great times.

My main memory of that game is the Chester goalie, who looked like one of Harry Enfields’ Scousers. Every time he took a goal kick, he got “ WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SH*T TASH”. Childish I know, but funny at the time.

Used to love Lucy. Wonder is she was a Claret.
