Excellent and incredibly mature.
High praise for Mr Dyche and understands the legacy.

Top man and destined for the top is VK. We’re incredibly lucky to have him.

I’d also be very interested to see if SD ever gives his thoughts on VK’s Burnley.

Always an interesting listen, thanks for sharing.

His achievements at Anderlecht are often looked down upon by those who don’t do much digging, but he is spot on with his reflections on his time there. He did a very good job, as can be seen by their mid table league position this season.

I think what attracted him here, as well as the people, like he said, is the control he’s had over recruitment. The part on coaching philosophy, where he discusses player attributes and roles, rather than position, is something I can see with the players we have brought in so far. I’d imagine he would not have had such control over transfers at some of the clubs he was linked with like Nice and Gladbach.

I watched it the other day. Top interview, but I only stuck with it because it's our club and VK. YouTube ads that you cannot skip after a few second are usually a no-no for me. The club ones are worse when it comes to ads. There's just too many.

Aren't interviews much better to watch when conducted by intelligent hosts, both Gab n Julien are always a good listen.

Is this different to or the same as the podcast a couple of weeks back with the same hosts?

Great interview. As others have touched on you get so much more out of it with good interviewers. It is really impressive how he talks and you can see how he understands the highest level of the game.

VK is going to the very top and hopefully we get a couple more years out of him. You can see from these types of interviews and how we are playing and, more importantly, developing before our eyes, the differences between current and previous management. Nobody has more respect for Dyche than me but when you get a younger manager with vast experience of playing at the top levels I don’t think there are limits to where he can get to.

The interesting thing is that Dyche and Burnley were aligned with their growth. Can Burnley grow significantly to keep up with VK’s development or given the answer to that question is likely no, how long can we enjoy him being here?

Not really fair comparing Dyche and Kompany tbh as it is clear that you will learn more playing for the likes of Guardiola. Learning briefly from Cloughy was from a very different type of football era particularly added to when you have played at lower levels.

It’s nice to see VK reference the core values of the club that have been nailed down by the previous manager so that someone can basically add on the gold dust.

It would seem a bit rude in a way, both to be asked and to answer.

it doesn't matter..... we could be financially backed to the hilt by a gulf nation or an oligarch and the simple truth is that VK is with us as a stepping stone to a position with a club with world stature. He will move when the time is right for him, and we should accept it and look back with a sense of good fortune in having had him here

Certainly knew what he was coming into and what a job he's done. Made all the more incredible when he reminds us where the parachure money went and the list of players gone to EPL teams.
