Yes that is bizarre, and if you wait until deadline day there is always the risk of deals collapsing with no time to arrange alternatives.

Rovers have now issued a statement confirming that both transfers they were trying to get through have been rejected. They plan to appeal and have until 7th to do so.

They’ve also isolated the other Huddersfield lad they signed, Toffolo. Was in Anderlecht ready to sign for them, everything all done but Forest pulled the plug at the last second as they found an injury to someone else in the squad. Think Anderlecht are lodging a complaint to FIFA or whoever it is.
