Can’t believe I am saying this BUT we don’t need any new signings. Let VK and his team work their magic again in the summer. Let this unbelievable team finish the job and strengthen where needed for the prem. the gaffer will know what is required

Id still be happy if we signed no one but made agreements that one or two of the loans could be permanent by the end of the season. Making two out of Tella, Beyer, Maatsen and Bellis permanent would be great business and sets us up for the Summer window.

Does anyone know if O'Hare did the same hamstring on saturday? If so that's bad news for him.

My two would be Beyer & Tella, only because I don't think THB & Maatsen would not be available for permanent transfer.

But there is also the ability to attract better quality players when you are in the PL (and pay their wages!).
Depending on who we’re looking at of course (i.e. this excludes established Prem players already on Prem wages), our current league position should be tempting for players if there’s a big rise on promotion. That would’ve been a much riskier bet for them in summer.

They were talking about Obafemi again on Sky last night.

Worse - Coventry fans think it is his ACL.

I may be feeling a little overcautious, but I think we need another striker, particularly if Dervisoglu returns to Brentford. If JRod and Barnes keep fit then it wouldn't be an issue, but with both their injury records losing one of them could be quite a blow.

Aside from that concern what a squad we have. I can't remember a time when we've had so many options.

With Chilwell and Cucurella ahead of him at Chelsea, and a year left on his contract, I’d be surprised if there weren’t a deal to be done if the player wanted to join. Think I’m these circumstances a lot depends on how much the player wants it and is willing to push for it though.

That’s why I think we need a better chant for him than Ian Ian Ian :D

I think you underestimate the clever and hard work he does, which enables the others to breeze through.

Absolutely this. His run taking away 3 defenders created the space for Zaroury’s opener last night.

At least 2 you have mentioned there won't be here by the end of January. From what I have been told one will be fighting at the other end of our table and another will be across the pond assuming his medical doesn't throw up any complications due to his recent injury

Isn’t that also Churlinov’s favoured position though?

As exciting as it is to be linked to all these attacking players, can’t help but feel it’s not a priority.

I don't think priority comes into this. If we want 7 players and they are cheap then it's a case of whoever becomes available first, we grab. He does look very much like a Kompany player with the way he moves inside.

I think with regards to wingers (and this chap looks like he can player forward) it could be a case of bringing in more than we need, knowing some will drop out and be sold. We're taking risks but know they won't all work.

Just watched some videos of the lad we ‘might’ be signing (we could be totally off on it obviously), this video is a fun watch:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EPJCA6PrP0A

Burnley’s Benny with the cross, Burnley’s Vitinho with the defensive header, potentially Burnley’s Balikwisha with the finish!

Sat next to his mother. There’s more chance of signing her and putting her out to stud. She can certainly produce ‘ballers.

The way things are going this approach may not be too far fetched. Maybe offer to buy up first option on all the England Women’s team offspring. With double money if sired by a prem league player.

I’d just seen that Norwood is OOC at the end of the season.

Whether they’d sell to us is obviously doubtful, but it would be a hell of a signing if we could get him in at a reasonable price, and deprives them of one of their star men.

Been pointed out that Cork & Cullen are picking up plenty of bookings so he’d get plenty of game time.

Could always loan him straight out to Wednesday if there’s no room for him 😁

May be we could be the first to set up such a 'youth policy'. Perhaps instead of doing it directly we could buy up suitable companies and use their expertise. A sperm and egg bank, IVF treatment and surrogate mother businesses and possibly a DNA testing lab for provenance checks. Obviously player contracts would have to be altered to have a claim on their sperm.

That's funny remind me who are top scorer is, yes Jay is going through a barren spell as all strikers do, but he'll come good again soon.

And despite not scoring for a while he's still contributing plenty for the team and those around him.

There's nothing wrong with the job Ash and JayRod are doing, but as I've posted several times over the last few weeks, we missed Tella.
Neither Ash or JayRod, could or would, have scored that 3rd against Birmingham, they just aren't fast enough. So we do need someone of his ilk, to either back him up or replace him if Saints do a recall. I like the look of Churlinov, but haven't seen enough of him to know if he could play that role or not.

It’ll be a loan, keep fit & put himself in the shop window, then free agent in summer.
