Suggestion by the Telegraph that Southgate will name an unchanged team.

Re: ENG v FRA
Hope that’s right.
Let’s for once focus on ourselves and the threats we posses - not a fan of shifting to a back 5 against the ‘better sides’. It shows a bit of an inferiority complex in my opinion. Need Walker to have the game of his life v Mbappe, but we have goals in us against their back line.
Re: ENG v FRA
Yep agree. Walker has faced Mbappe 4 times in the past couple of seasons and has done well each time. Let’s hope he can do it again, despite having an injury hit season himself.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 5:18 pmHope that’s right.

As for us, they should be more than worried about our front 4, which is, for me, the best that’s left in the competition.

Routine win for the Three Lions

Re: ENG v FRA
Obviously I hope England win, and I am encouraged to see the starting line-up doesn't look like one put together out of fear of the opposition. Lets hope they are allowed to express themselves...
Still not watching mind.... maybe I was the jinx all along?

Re: ENG v FRA
You don't care about England, wont be watching the game but you will be the first one on here crying and moaning at the first sign of potential failure.
Re: ENG v FRA
Three women at pitchside and that's the important thing.

Can't afford to give France a free 35 minutes whilst we get into our stride.
Need to be alert straight from kick off

They also can’t afford to give us the space they gave Poland for most of the match or they will get pummelled.Croydon Claret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 6:26 pmCan't afford to give France a free 35 minutes whilst we get into our stride.

Re: ENG v FRA
Good start so far.
Re: ENG v FRA
It’s criminal to be offside from a free kick like that.

Re: ENG v FRA
Walking passing is to telepathic for the opposition to read.
Re: ENG v FRA
They have given us the ball a few times and hopefully they keep doing and we capitalise on it.
Re: ENG v FRA
Good goal
Re: ENG v FRA

Re: ENG v FRA

Re: ENG v FRA
Great strike but was there a foul on Saka in the build-up?
Re: ENG v FRA
It looked like a foul.
Re: ENG v FRA
France always looking to play forward, England always looking to play square or backwards.
That’s asking for trouble...

Re: ENG v FRA
Always happens. Poor decision results in a goal for the other team. But to be honest we've been very pedestrian so far and I can't see anything but a France victory at the moment.

Re: ENG v FRA
The "foul" is 70 yds and 45 seconds away from the guy who strikes the goal. And now Walton says VAR checked an no foul .Play to the whistle no?

Re: ENG v FRA

Re: ENG v FRA
