Lineup tomorrow
Lineup tomorrow
Jayrod was slow and looked poor last week IMO. Only had 6 touches in the first half is what the commentator said
I would throw Barnes up top to start
Cullen misses due to yellows so Twine in #10 and drop Browny with Cork ?
Barnes
Tella Twine JBG
Cork Browny
Maatsen Beyer THB Vintinho

Re: Lineup tomorrow
Same line-up as QPR but the bench will be very interesting.
Re: Lineup tomorrow
What will be interesting? Can only think of Roberts coming in, possibly for Bastien? Not sure.IWOODLOVETT wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 6:19 pmSame line-up as QPR but the bench will be very interesting.
Re: Lineup tomorrow
We won 3-0 at a training pace. Absolutely no reason to change the line up

Re: Lineup tomorrow
I meant the choice and quality of the bench and how and when the subs will be used.
Re: Lineup tomorrow
Cullen hasn't got 10 yellows so why would he be missing due to yellows
Re: Lineup tomorrow
Id be amazed if it was the same 11, so I'd guess
Muric
Roberts THB Bayer Maatsen
Cullen Cork
JBG Brownhill Benson
Jay
Formation is dependent on whetter attacking or defending, wide men to swap over flanks depending on how much joy they're getting.

Re: Lineup tomorrow
How good are Boro?
Re: Lineup tomorrow
They are 3rd in the form table (behind us and Sheffield) since Carrick was appointed.
He’s got them playing quite well. I’m predicting our most difficult home game of the season.

They are decent! In great form right now, but hopefully we are ahead of them in terms of progress and hopefully this will be the end of Carrick’s rebound effect.

A couple of posters on social media suggesting Vintinho out with cracked ribs. Real shame if true.

And the bench doesn't have many attacking options avaliable either.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:07 pmA couple of posters on social media suggesting Vintinho out with cracked ribs. Real shame if true.
Be a big test tomorrow, with so many missing

Re: Lineup tomorrow
Will be a tough test for our fantastic Clarets, fortunately VK has had a good few weeks with the whole of the squad minus Roberts and Zaroury to coach them.
I'm not worried about who is playing, they should all know what they're doing after a VK mid season pre season kind of this is how I want you to play training session.

Heard we’ve picked up a couple of unfortunate injuries for tomorrow, fortunately both in positions we have good cover. Time for the squad depth to pay dividends.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:07 pmA couple of posters on social media suggesting Vintinho out with cracked ribs. Real shame if true.

Potential Banana skin!
Re: Lineup tomorrow
If Jay's fit, Jay starts.
Re: Lineup tomorrow
Tbf we’ve got good cover in every single position!
Fingers crossed nothing serious and also that it’s neither Twine or Churlinov, who are owed a bit of luck.

Re: Lineup tomorrow
Yeah, good point RV. We’re so fortunate squad wise, although you never know whether they will hit the ground running given most haven’t played a lot of football. But it’s exciting to see new faces - adds to the anticipation of the game for me.
I’ve only heard of two and can’t work out MACCA’s post from that so there may be something I don’t know. Both minor from what I’m told.

Yeah- looking at their possession stats, they like it as we do.
Tough game ahead. Hopefully a good atmosphere will

Re: Lineup tomorrow
Rumours circulating that Vitinho is injured.
Re: Lineup tomorrow
I hope you're more right than me on this occasion, as what I saw we looked a bit thin on the ground, hopefully, it was a case of "worst case scenario" and a couple were waiting to see how they were this morning before a Decision was made.
Fingers crossed

Well since my two aren’t your two, that would make four out if we’re both right. So let’s hope we’re both wrong

Re: Lineup tomorrow
One of our toughest home games. I fully expect Boro and West Brom to finish in the top 6. They will replace our 2 Lancs lesser neighbours in the top 6 at the end of the season.
I expect a draw or a narrow win today. Interesting that the bookies have us as slight odds against when we are odds on for the championship and unbeaten at home. They probably have it about right at 11/10 for the home win.
