Coronation 6th May

Post by mikeS » Thu Dec 29, 2022 3:30 pm

Just filling in my new diary and noticed that...
Burnley's number one fan has only gone and booked his Coronation on the Saturday we play Cardiff at home on the 6th of May.

No details of what the Coronation schedule will be - BUT - will matches be re-arranged for another date?

I will miss the game and the Coronation due to flying to Vegas on the 6th.

No doubt the game will be moved to Sunday 7th or possibly Monday 8th as this has been made a Bank Holiday.

Seems a good move to me: By having it on that day his subjects won't ever forget when it was; forever linked with Burnley's return to the Premier league.

With his Burnley shirt under his robe and his footman giving him updates, I'm sure he'll be doing his best to keep up with the match.
He may even catch some of it in his carriage if he is able to get a decent stream on his phone.

If they change the date he can drag the Prince Of Wales along to see us lift the trophy against the Taffies.

Make a change for William seeing a side wearing Claret and Blue lifting silverware won't it. :)
