Collecting tickets at Stoke
Did anyone else have to collect a ticket last night?
Our ticket office only sent me 5 out of the 6 I’d ordered so they told me they had arranged for a reprint to be collected at the ground, however when I went to the Stoke ticket office with the email they had no clue about it and wouldn’t help me.

That’s a poor do Granny, did you have to buy another ticket? If so you should be able to get a refund from BFC ticket office.Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:20 amDid anyone else have to collect a ticket last night?

They were being funny with selling me one in the home end so I ended up just walking to turnstile without a ticket and just walking in behind someone.durhamclaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:30 amThat’s a poor do Granny, did you have to buy another ticket? Ridiculous situation.

Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
I realised my ticket and my child’s were number 23 & 24, unfortunately one was row 7 and one was row 25, god knows how that happened as I purchased them together. Wasn’t an issue though as there were plenty of empty seats about

Probably due to our 2 rows of 8 actually being 2 rows of 10 squashed into 8.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 10:20 amI realised my ticket and my child’s were number 23 & 24, unfortunately one was row 7 and one was row 25, god knows how that happened as I purchased them together. Like sardines where we were, although at least I did get to sit at HT.

Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
I don't know what's going on with the postal tickets. Never a problem in the past, but I've had to collect three reprints at away grounds this season.
Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
Glad I live locally so I can always go down for my tickets. It's been a shambles this season.

Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
Do you think it's got something to do with the postal strikes? Twice in the past 2/3 days the post has delivered Christmas cards. Yesterday the post also delivered my Bournemouth tickets.dougcollins wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 11:03 amI don't know what's going on with the postal tickets. Same here. Not good enough. And at Wigan our tickets had been posted to and used by the wrong people meaning one seat per two people.dougcollins wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 11:03 amI don't know what's going on with the postal tickets. Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
We went for our “re-prints” at the Stoke ticket office as instructed…………to be told they were at turnstile 55 at the away end, where we had to queue fingers crossed…………but yep, they were available.
The only thing I would add is I bought the tickets on “day one” ………….I live on the Isle of Man and rang the ticket office as tickets still hadn’t arrived on Thursday, as I was travelling across early doors yesterday……hence they arranged the reprint. However, my other half rang me as I sat at the airport to say the tickets had arrived! Thing is the envelope they were in was stamped the 28th December so where the hell they had been is a mystery!!!!!
Never mind - alls well that ends well!

Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
I ordered a reprint for Old Trafford as mine didn't arrive (only arrived yesterday in fact)
When I went to collect it before the game it wasn't there. They had no record of me ringing to request it
The ticket office have been great on the whole this year, sorting out tickets for my kids last minute etc. But the United game was shambolic. And it sounds like they messed up again for Stoke

Well, you can blame the postal strikes, apart from the fact that they NEVER turn up.Paul Waine wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:34 pmDo you think it's got something to do with the postal strikes? Re: Collecting tickets at Stoke
Can't be beyond the realms of possibility for to move to an online system, as they do for most entertainment venues these days.
Can keep the paper tickets for those that don't have the internet
