Could we field a team of under 30's next season

Post by tiger76 » Tue Jan 03, 2023 7:02 pm

Looking at most of our older heads going out the door, either this month or in the summer when their contracts end, and the only players in 1st team contention over 30 are Cork and Jay Rod, neither of whom are guaranteed starters certainly not if we're in the PL anyway, Taylor will be 30 this September, again not someone who's assured of a starting berth.

Therefore assuming we stick to the present transfer policy it's a fair assumption we'll line-up without anyone over 30 at some stage next season for better or worse.

Must be a long time since we've fielded a starting that youthful, just illustrates the sea change in approach from the new regime doesn't it.

Whatever else it's bold and exciting to witness.
