I'm not even sure how he gets into the current team tbh. Rashford is on fire. I'll be watching his first games with some intrigue.

Rashford is playing off the left with Martial central.

Probably be a rotation option with Martial for cup / Europe / sub in the league.

Forgot they're in the Europa this season. They've got Barca for their first playoff game...

I reckon he'll see plenty of action, Martial still isn't convincing/doesn't look fit.

Weggertron starting for UTD tonight. Hopefully he bangs three in and we can get £30M for him in Summer.

Shall we guess how many times Burnley will be mentioned this evening? I'll go with 12.

Martial went off injured at half time against City. Big chance Wout starts tonight.

Aye up front with Rashford left, Antony right; no Martial on the bench (he was an injury doubt).

While I'm protective of our club and didn't like some of the things I was hearing about him back end of last season, surely it's in our best interests that he does well at ManU.

Not sure if you heard Glenn Little on Radio Lancs at the weekend but he labelled it Man Utd’s worst ever signing- and he’s a Utd fan! A bit OTT if you ask me, but it was funny when he said it.

I hope he bags a hattrick.

He left for a sound reason.
Burnley are going to get promoted anyway, but he wouldn't have gone to the WC if he had stayed.
It's sad, but understandable.

Runs around a lot,odd nice touch, not a top six player, maybe we should have him in the team next season back in the big league be good for 10/12 goals

Just been watching since half time, and 25 minutes in he’s touched the ball once to kick it backwards, and now he’s getting hoisted off.

Wout did ok 1st half.
Unspectacular but dropped and linked play quite well. Occupied defenders and created space for others.

Have a look on social media he’s already getting pelters.

Be surprised if he makes more than a handful of appearances

Not sure, United district comment section has been really negative.

Tbf they are all saying stuff that this board said after his first appearance.

Nice flicks and touches but too slow to be effective

The knowledgeable United fans I follow have rated him.

Example:

‘for the job he’s been tasked with he’s been spotless. Back to goal play, dragging markers, occupying the back line, pushing the defensive line deeper etc etc. Will is not wrong at all, he’s flourishing with the ball on the deck.’

He played ok. Not sure why his performance needs to be one extreme or the other, but I suppose that’s an effect of this social media age.

Nobody knows how slow Berbatov was as he was never spotted whilst running.

I personally thought he was just ok.

Some nice touches here and there but I thought he slowed the play down and struggled to get in advanced areas.

Not convinced he will get much if any game time once Martial is back.

Seems to be that it has to be one extreme or the other these days doesn't it.

He’ll get plenty of game time as United have two League Cup semi finals, two Europa League ties vs Barcelona and an FACup tie vs Reading all in very quick succession.

Did OK with his capability. He made Bruno's goal easy by drawing 2 defenders out of the way to give him a clear shot. My guess he will split opinions as he did here.

WW is a younger upgrade to the two options that we currenty have.
Both are at the end of their time for a PL season - at best bench players next season. Jay may have more in the tank but looks knackered at the mo'.

imho - WW is currently our best option next season - or we spend larger than we have before (this won't happen).
Gyökeres from Cov' is well worth a punt in the summer whether WW goes or not.

If we go up and still have WW, he will get us goals.
