Not a cheap pass time for some anymore. Not a poor man’s game either. I remember paying £3 to get in.

The direct debit will automatically renew, my season ticket will automatically renew, or both?ArmchairDetective wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 4:14 pmI think it is intended to read:
If you paid by Direct Debit previously this will automatically renew for the 2023/24 season. If you currently pay on Direct Debit and don’t intend to renew your season ticket, please contact the ticket office on ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com no later than Friday 3rd March 2023.
May be worth checking though...

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
No I couldn't get through, but will try again today. It still states the same on the website though, but I don't want to second guess what they are trying to say.
However on the Tickets site is states... https://tickets.burnleyfootballclub.com ... ?page=sfaq
I pay direct debit currently, what do I need to do?
If you paid by direct debit previously this will automatically renew for the 2023/24 season. If you currently pay on direct debit and don't wish to renew, please contact the Ticket Office on ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com no later than Friday 3rd March 2023
On the main site it states... https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/con ... ale-friday
I pay Direct Debit currently, what do I need to do?

So I think its a Typo

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I had to speak to the ticket office the other year as my lad was going from under 10 to under 12, but his birthday is in August. As mentioned above it goes off the age at the start of the season. So next year (assuming we go up) he makes the Under 12 ticket by less than 2 weeks. The Hung Juror wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 4:52 pmInteresting you say that, and poses the question as to when Is the cut off date for determing which age range you fall into.
I may be wrong but cannot find it in the season ticket terms and conditions.
At present my son is 17 years old with his birthday in March. If a pay now he’s under 18, but obviously will be 18 at the start of the season.
There’s also an argument Bosscat that supporters who are your age are already over 65, being 65 years and however many days.

17 quid for top flight football is excellent vfm. Can't argue with the prices at all really.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Never really paid much attention to this as I’m a renewer, but can new ST holders buy now, or is it only renewals that benefit from the early bird pricing?
Or do new ST holders always have to pay an inflated price?

I think the increase is inevitable and I've no real issue with it. We're still a very affordable price compared to other clubs.

My friend purchased a new ticket last year in the early bird period and got the early bird price
Also the question I emailed the club about (being 65 before start of season) has now been put on the website ...

There's around 75 people on the waiting list for a ST in the CF stand.
Slim chance of that many not renewing.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I confirmed my renewal at £290 for Longside Upper on centre line. Cracking seat in great company. The one advantage of reaching an age milestone was the exceedingly cheap season ticket.
Thanks BFC. Appreciated.

Just a quick question, can you pay for your season ticket with cash at the ticket office or only by card?

Am I correct in thinking I don’t have to renew if paying by DD and nothing has changed? It will renew automatically?

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I’m a little confused
How do have we sold 10k already?
Are there that many that aren’t paying by DD and renewed?
There’s 4 of us on DD that don’t have to tell them we are renewing. Are we in that 10k?

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
We seem to have had a surge in sales now. Not that many with seats together left.
For those that think we have to keep 1/2/3k back for walk ons. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of holding back seats and we certainly haven't got that many left to sell.

Presumably that includes all the current season ticket holders who, like me, have yet to renewQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 1:56 pmWe seem to have had a surge in sales now. Not that many with seats together left.

Very true. You'd think it'd have to be out of absolute necessityQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:01 pmYeah, they have until the end of the Early bird period to keep their seat I think.
Can't see many giving their seat up though.

Can you imagine if the 10k they announced was not including the existing DD holders

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Quickenthetempo’s post has just made me have a look and there’s hardly any left. Mainly singles!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:22 pmThat’s why it’s so high so quickly - all the DD season ticket holders included.
Unless they have prevented some from being sold it looks like they’re nearly all gone.
Could it be that 10k are new sales or have you had it confirmed that it includes DD customers? Which I thought was about 9k so wouldn’t tie in with so few being left now.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
None of this season’s ticket holders will be available for starters whether they were on DD or not. They are on reserve, so that’s 14,000 or so.NewClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:30 pmQuickenthetempo’s post has just made me have a look and there’s hardly any left. Mainly singles!

What I said was that all those on DD will be included in the 10,000 based on them continuing automatically.

Premier League rules were that clubs had to keep a certain percentage of seats available for people to buy on a single match basis.ie not filling the ground completely with season ticket holders(excluding away fans of course).
If this rule has been amended I've not read about it.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Are one-off tickets usually easily available? I'm planning on a trip this fall, and I know that certain derby tickets would be impossible to come by (like Blackburn), but what about a normal game? I would get them ahead of time as much as possible.

Usually wouldn’t have any issues Asheville, providing you plan in advance.AshevilleNCClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:59 pmAre one-off tickets usually easily available? My comment was more that there are very few left available for ST sale, which is presumably because the number required to be retained for “walk on” sales have been taken off sale by the club.
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
It hasn't been amended, 'a reasonable proportion (at least 5%) have to be made available to non-season ticket holders'. EPL Rule R.6.9. So for us it would be just under 1000.Targetman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:48 pmPremier League rules were that clubs had to keep a certain percentage of seats available for people to buy on a single match basis.ie not filling the ground completely with season ticket holders(excluding away fans of course).
