Re: Season tickets 2023/24
They’ve definitely taken 1000 ‘off sale’ then because there doesn’t seem to be that many left.
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I was unsure about the 'auto renewal' in case it just lapsed! I went on the club site and it was in the basket, for purchase. I confirmed by checking out as a DD and got the email confirmation right away.
It also confirmed payment dates by DD.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
The only thing in my basket is the Fleetwood tickets (which I needed to purchase, so thanks for that reminder), but I’ve checked my purchase history and it’s in there but haven’t seen an email for it.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
If you've paid for a retirement-age season ticket - does that show when it's scanned at the turnstile?
Or in other words, if I can't get to the game, could my son-in-law use my ticket without having to act as decrepit as me

Yes it does show when the card is scanned but don't know if the turnstile operators really take any notice.SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 2:50 pmIf you've paid for a retirement-age season ticket - does that show when it's scanned at the turnstile?

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Just to clarify - you can “upgrade” it to adult game by game. You just go in to the ticket office & pay the extra. They Vance your ST and give you a paper replacement.SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 2:59 pmMuch obliged Leisure - looks like I'll have to ask the club to charge me full price!

It be worth checking first of all your Junk/spam/trash folders as depending on settings it could have been directed there without you knowing. Failing that if you go onto website and check your email is correct on your account.

As I said, next years ticket is showing in the purchase history and I selected it to resend email which I’ve received in my inbox

I've had no email confirmation either and none in our group had up to last night, but all of us have had the loyalty points added along with it showing in the purchase history.
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Am I correct in thinking that in addition to the above, there will be additional seats later from people who don't renew?Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 1:08 pmLU 68

Yeah, they have until the end of the Early bird to renew. Then any seats will be available.
I'm 75th in line for any available STs in the CF stand but I will be gobsmacked if that many don't renew.

They read our ST thread didn't they.
Re: Season tickets
How many is the max quota for STs then? Can't they increase it, to get sure money?
Re: Season tickets
Longside Upper 62 seats available for choice
Longside Lower 50
Bee Hole Upper 44
Bee Hole Lower 37
Bob Lord 48
Total 241
The posh seats are blocked out. They like to keep them empty, I think!
So if that is all the available seats for choice....are we nearly at capacity, providing all the existing STs renew?

There will be a few ST holders who don’t renew for various reasons.

Still would appear that there won’t be many walk ons available next season

When does Early Bird close? Get your bargain seat and know you can come and see Burnley win the Prem next season!

Just seen this. Absolutely brilliant news and surely that means we’re going to have 18000-19000 ST holders?
Amazing support. Tickets are going to be hard to come by next year.

Wow! Those 241 are going to disappear in moments, given the enthusiasm at this time.
Amazing. A sold out stadium or an I missing something?
(Just lucky those posh seats will be empty!

Re: Season tickets
Bit of a mystery, this. I suppose the options are:
- they’re going to ignore the rules
- they hope 1k existing won’t renew
- look in to temporary seating (impossible, I’d imagine)
- there are big blocks reserved for general sale - mid tiers for Longside were grey very quickly
- they’ve scattered them about so there are some in each stand
Last bullet most likely, I’d have thought. I assume that there’s no rules on what price bands the general sale tickets need to be in so maybe they’ve just left 1k very expensive ones, assuming people would pay it for infrequent visits?

Re: Season tickets
Don't know what you mean by 'masked off'? It means that we can't sell every available home seat to a season ticket holder. We have to leave around 1000 unsold for sale to non- season ticket holders ie walk-ons.

Re: Season tickets
Got STs for my youngest and I, last week. On the Bob Lord. There weren’t many then that were sat together. Glad I went when I did.

Re: Season tickets
Would’ve thought a lot would get caught out with this. Especially given the early bird period doesn’t end until late March. I think a lot will expect to be able to get it nearer that time and will get caught out.Lord Beamish wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 10:55 pmGot STs for my youngest and I, last week. On the Bob Lord. Well done to the club for letting fans know they’re on the last remaining seats but not everyone will see that.

Will be less than that when you take off away allocation and walk-ons, will still be a record though.

I worked it out as:claretandy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 8:34 amWill be less than that when you take off away allocation and walk-ons, will still be a record though.
22,000 - 2275 (away) = 19,725
19,725 - 5% = 18,738
Still, fantastic to be setting records either way.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Amazing to see such a big take up of season tickets, both renewals and new season tickets.
Not sure any of us could have predicted the response on the pitch to relegation and the sheer volume of gates we’ve been getting this season.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
It's impossible to work out, as we won't know if corporate seats are included in the 5% walk on.
They take up quite a few seats in the ground and are available on a match by match basis.

I understand that Leisure. By 'masked off' I mean shielded from view to the would be purchasers. Or are there sufficient seats in the posh bit/Directors section and Hospitality?

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
In the upgrade scenario, they “cancel” the ST, give you a paper replacement but only charge you the difference.
But irrespective, I emailed to ask if I could take a child in replacement of an adult ST and they said yes. So I’m not sure how hard they seek to enforce that particular term.
Re: Season tickets
OK. No there aren't enough seats there, they would be spread across the stands, except in the CF.
Re: Season tickets
There will always be that turnover and those who have become immobile or suffer from some other debilitating condition. Hopefully, not too many!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 10:49 pmI doubt there will be many but I'm aware of three who won't be renewing for a very obvious reason.
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Just to clarify amongst the panic for a seat, if you pay by DD and wish to renew, you don’t have to do anything at all it will just auto renew is that correct?

Re: Season tickets
I must say I would be surprised if they decided to sell so many season tickets - the uplift in revenues provided by matchday tickets is significant and given how may matchday tickets have been sold this year that will be very fresh in the mindset - I believe we are on course for record Matchday receipts this season, which would be over £6.323m we earned in in 2018/19.
If it is so few, there is the possibility (nothing certain) of a membership scheme being introduced to qualify for the ability to buy matchday tickets - this is a standard feature for Premier League clubs. Such schemes require a consistent over-demand relevant to capacity and we may not yet be at that level yet.
Re: Season tickets
Given that the most expensive seats are available for walk ons, I would hope that a great deal of additional revenue would accrue by making these seats the only game in town, on the day!Chester Perry wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:38 amI must say I would be surprised if they decided to sell so many season tickets - the uplift in revenues provided by matchday tickets is significant and given how may matchday tickets have been sold this year that will be very fresh in the mindset - I believe we are on course for record Matchday receipts this season, which would be over £6.323m we earned in in 2018/19.
