Decent start from SA. Looks a good pitch with short boundaries.

Good to see Archer back.
Still a long way to go to get him back to near his best after such a long lay off.

Fast start from SA but England have pulled it back well taking wickets and getting on top of the scoring rate.
A couple of wickets now would put needed pressure on SA.
This ground doesn't have a history of big scores from what I can see so SA looking like they will probably set a challenging target. Having said which - Eng have a habit of chasing challenging targets.

Good figures for Curran there. In a 6/over game he got 3-35 in 9 overs. Not sure why he didn't get his 10 full overs in there.
Tough target for England, Roy getting some of his old form back here would be grand but plenty of other batting in the line up too

England going very well (hopefully that dosnt put the mockers on it) - 136/0 18.2 overs. Looks like they'll be about half way there at the 20 over mark. Should really win from here but a few quick might spoil the fun.

Great to see Roy get his eye back in too. Looked like he was going down the Aaron Finch road for a while.

The only way England could lose that game was being bowled out, a mere 27 needed from 32 balls so RR wouldn't have been a problem, however the wickets tumbling cost England dear ultimately.

Pleased for Roy that he completed his ton but that middle collapse has to be a concern after such a fantastic opening stand.

Bumping this to avoid posting a new thread.

SA won toss and are bowling, England rebuilding through Brook and Buttler after losing 3 early wickets,

50 for Brook what a talent this lad already is.

Need Moeen to stick around and have a decent partnership with Jos so Woakes and Curran can have a slog if/when they get in.
I think the bowling attack for England is better balanced in this game, something above 280 would be defendable.

Good to see Harry Brook back on song anyway.

On the cricket theme... just spotted that the Ladies U19 T20 WC final (India v England) is on SkyMix live from 11.45 (I'm not a skysports subscriber but that channel is available to me- so hopefully anybody else who has an interest).

Great comeback the other day by England to beat Australia (getting them AO for 96 having scored only 99 themselves) in the semi.
Hopefully a good final to follow alongside the SA v England cricket.

Libby Heap, daughter of Lowerhouse Captain Ben and his wife Shelley, opens for England as she has done the whole Tournament. She seems to have been given the role of a pinch-hitter, in the hope of giving England a " flying start ". This means she's occasionally been dismissed early on, but she's averaging nearly 25, at a strike rate of 146/100 balls, with a high score of 64 ...

She's clearly talented, as she captained Stonyhurst College's 1st XI last summer, where she's there, I presume, on a scholarship ...

Big score, especially after losing those first 3 wickets relatively cheaply.

SA have some aggressive batsman but England should be able to defend that if the bowlers perform up to their usual standards and we field well.
