Rovers strengthen big-style.

Post by fatboy47 » Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:46 am

Already added a speedy left wing on loan from Hudds, and now rumours of a possible loan from Juventus... Samuel Lling..not heard of him, but can't be a mug if he's at Juventus.

Should we be worried? Or will the current points cushion see us through?

Quite a few angry voices on their forums, complaining at the owners reticence in terms of investment. Discontent seems to be growing.

Sorba Thomas, the guy from Huddersfield, has struggled to get in their side all season. Stories of attitude problems apparently, but who knows. I’ll admit, he looked more than useful last season in their run to the play offs though. Sam Lling? Never heard of him.

Love the view that they’ve strengthened big style with a speedy winger from a team third bottom of the championship and a player that you’ve never heard of from Juve.

I’m not sure why we’d be worried. We are 19 points clear of them, a far better side and have ourselves added more players to the squad.

The lad from Juventus is another young English player who's gone abroad, never seen him play but read about him before and seems to be impressing over there and I think played for their first team.
Could be an excellent signing but could also not manage the championship time will tell

I know a barsteward supporter who says Bretherton Dioz is now crap and they would need to sign an instantly-jelling half a side to stay the course.

I watched the extended highlights (again!) last night, and was thinking just how assured we looked. Barnes looked very sharp, could have easily bagged 4.

Reports online for Samuel Iling-Junior show great promise and already made his Serie A and Champions League debuts for Juventus with their current problems he has been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Liverpool.

I have a mate who hires out bouncy castles and big marquees. Says he's been asked about availability in the Whalley area for Monday by a chap with a strong northern indian accent.

And he kept getting drowned out by lots of squawking going on in the background.

Only saying. Don't shoot the messenger.
