Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Tella is looking sharp. Random guess: Tella scores.
Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Commentator has said Al-Dakhil's name three times and pronounced it wrong three times. How hard is it, really?

Afternoon everyone
Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Strange start to the game.
The most horrendous of commentators, but we look to be taking the game as a training game.

Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Thought Ipswich might have a decent playing surface. Bad en.
Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
I doubt Kompany is happy with this. We should be much more on the front foot.

With Orient, Portman Rd used to be the best surface in the League in the 70s/80s.

Bright start by Ipswich. Giving us all we can handle so far.

Have we been in their third yet?

Silly booking for Beyer. On halfway line with plenty back to defend.

Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Good booking for Beyer. Needed to foul as they were breaking in big numbers. Not the most composed of starts. Al Dak looks a little lightweight but plenty of time to grow.

Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
Yeah and that's bad enough but commentators and pundits getting names wrong is one of my pet hates. It's your job. Bare minimum. Funny how all the media just decided Newcastle's number seven is called Joe Linton and now it's stuck.

Finally got the ball down and passing it. Leads to a JRod chance but he fires over.

Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
I'm surprised at the number of long passes we're playing from the back.
Is that because it's strategic? Just getting a foothold? Missing Muric reduces options? The young lad is a long passing specialist?

Good play by Churlinov
Re: Ipswich v Clarets Match Thread
