It’ll probably wait until the summer now but you can see why we’re after another midfielder. Bastien not done enough to impress really during his appearances.
He's been very underwhelming to date sadly. Hope he can step things up

Fair play to Ipswich. We've been below our usual selves though. Rodriguez should've hit the target twice, quite possibly have scored twice.

Had to escape the stream due to Chicken sandwich adverts, mayonaise and the worst commentating you can imagine - enough to put me off for life.

Can some posters provide updates please.

Suspensions stick with competition now, so any would be FA Cup only.

Our 3 best players at keeping and rotating possession, THB, Muric and Cullen, are all missing and it shows. Add that to the fact we've made so many changes and got 4 players on the pitch who have had little game time this season its not surprising we look a bit out of sorts.

Think we'll make some changes and have enough to win it second half still

Missing Cullens control and Brownhills energy. Definitely looking a little light in midfield with twine in there. A lot of underwhelming performances but when we get it to Churlinov he looks lively and I like the look of the new lad at centre half.
It’s definitely a collective poor performance that’s contributing

BEIN sports 3 English is very good coverage. Better than how we are playing so far ! Churlinov shown a couple of good moments but we need some width. Don’t think we have had a shot on target

Some of our passing is dreadful.
They are pressing well but most of the time we are giving the ball away is under little or no pressure, the last time I saw that was away at West Brom.

The fact we are sloppy in possession is encouraging the press, when we are faultless on the ball the opposition press eventually diminishes.

I thought we’d signed a player of real quality after watching the first game at Huddersfield. Since then, he’s not come close to hitting the same sort of levels, albeit with limited opportunities to do so.

I haven't got a stream so not watching the game.
Re Bastien getting singled out, a few posters were calling him against West Brom, and he had a very good game against the Baggies. Seems to me, without seeing the game, that he's become the latest scapegoat/whipping boy.
Give it a rest.

Twine is being played out of position IMHO. He's not an inside forward and needs to drop a little deeper to receive the ball in midfield. Tella needs to stay wider right to stretch their defence as we're too narrow thus giving them an easier time. I like the look of Churlinov who seems to be growing into the game. Need him running at their right back a touch more. They're no mugs though.

Im not saying we've got a weak team out just that our changes (especially the 3 I mentioned) are disrupting our ability to play our usual of possession football.

I think we have enough to win it anyway but just noting our style of play relies on a back 5 being very comfortable on the ball with Cork and Cullen happy to receive it under pressure. Out of the first choice 7 we've only got Beyer, Cork and Vitinho returning from injury and I think its affected us

Bastien did really well tidying up but then dives for a free kick. No need to do that.

Tell looked liked he'd messed up his chance then let fly with a snapshot. At last, a proper shot.
