Charlie Casper on the bench...heard good reports

Thats the story of this team sheet for me. I know its a very diffrrent position to his granddad but if he is half as good a player........

I worry about injuries though what if Beyer gets injured we will struggle.

Sorry yes me and clarethomer seemed to post the two threads at the exact same time. If there’s a mod around maybe they can merge.

Excited to see how we go today, big chances for Churlinov, Twine and Al-Dakhil in particular.

We really have a brilliant squad now.
Great for Charlie Casper to be included.

Very difficult to keep up with all these new players. How many goalkeepers do we have right now?

Strong XI
Strong bench

And no Muric, JBG, Benson, THB, Dervişoğlu, Egan-Riley or Obafemi (tbc)

Ekdal and Al-Dakhil. Most confusing. Both central defenders as well.

That XI should be enough to see off a League 1 side, and we have plenty in reserve if needed.

Lots, several on loan. I read somewhere that they were fast-tracking Casper.

4 I think? Muric, BPF, Franchi, Casper? Assume there's more in the youth teams too.

Fingers crossed for Al-Dakhil, new team, new system. I hope he hits the ground running. We need a match ready back up with THB out.
Would live to see Twine show enough for a regular starting spot, his cameos have looked so promising.

Come on you Clarets

Far too much positivity on here. It’s the FA Cup and we are away so game on. I’m not normally a fan of the cups but I’d like to see us make the last 16 with a chance of a good draw.

4 under 18s
2 under 21s
3 1st team
plus Norris, and possibly Jensen although he's no longer listed.

Ipswich have made 8 changes, so it's a reserve side.

Understandable. Up against a side good enough for the Premier League, so it makes sense to rest players who will push for promotion.

Is that so? Clearly prioritising the league if this is the case which is understandable

Thought we would have been promoted by now so that we could have put our strongest team out for the cup!

Bet 365

Twine to score
Burnley to win
Over 3 goals

10/1

Thought that might interest a few

Presumably Charlie Casper being on the bench is the reward for his recent performances. Very positive management.

VK has a wealth of riches now and has to ensure players don't feel excluded.

And yes, having a Casper in our squad fills me with huge pride.
